Cotopaxi Volcano
Day 1: Quito City Tour: Old Town, Independence Square, Carondelet Palace,
El Sagrario and La Compañia churches, San Francisco Square, Afternoon: Middle
of the World. Lodging at Quito (Hostal)
Day 2: Cotopaxi National Park. Ascent
to 4000 mts. Cotopaxi South-side. (Optional) Trekking to camp-base at 4800 mts
located in front of glacial. Opportunity to see condors, wild horses, llamas.
Descent and lodging in Indian hostel.
Day
3: Baños. Arrive at Baños town
and descend by bikes (14Km) until
Pailón
del Diablo entrance. Visit waterfall and cross by cable-car (450 mts
length) over Pastaza River. Lodging in Baños.
Day
4: Baños -Riobamba. Arrive at Riobamba, city tour and Indian market.
Lodging at hostel.
Imbabura Volcan
DAY 5: Chimborazo Snow-Mountain. Ascend by car (4x4) until Hermanos Carrel
Refuge. Trekking to the second refuge: E. Whimper locate at 5000 mts. Descend
by bikes. Cross the sandy land (Vicunas Reserve) and our last point during this
day the indigenous town of San Juan. Lodging in Riobamba
Day 6: Devil's Nose-Riobamba. Departure to Alausi and adventure in Devil's Nose
train (3hours). Return to Riobamba and accommodation.
Day 7: Riobamba - Ambato-Latacunga-Quito. Free afternoon in Quito.
Day 8: Otavalo-Cuicocha Lake. Visit
Cotacachi and trekking in Cuicocha Lake. Lodging in Otavalo.
Day 9: Otavalo Indian Market, at noon
we will depart to Mindo-Cloud Forest. Accommodation in Mindo (Lodge)
Day 10: Mindo: Canopy adventure (10
cables: between 70-200 meters high). Trekking and visit waterfalls. Return to
Quito.

Day 11 GALAPAGOS. We
fly from Quito to the Island of Baltra. At the airport in Baltra, we will meet
up with our English speaking guide who will take us to the port of Puerto
Ayora (Santa Cruz Island) for lunch. Afterwards, we will take the
public speedboat to Isabela, which lasts approximately three and half
hours. We will arrive to the hotel. After a brief rest at the
hotel, we will head to the Flamingos Lagoon. This place is the largest
coastal lagoon found in the Galapagos and is one of the main reproductive sites
for the majority of flamingo
Day 12: GALAPAGOS. Early in the morning after breakfast, we will have a full day tour of the
Sierra Negra Volcano. This volcano is located 13 miles from Puerto Villamil
and is the world's second largest volcanic crater, measuring 6 miles in
diameter and 300 feet deep. For this reason, we will be riding horses through
the terrain. (We will also provide a boxed lunch). This special place has two
visitors' sites: La Bocanilla and Volcan Chico, and we will be visiting both.
In the afternoon, we will return to the hotel and later we will have the
opportunity to Playa Grande, located in Puerto Villamil, or snorkel in Concha
Perla. Lodging in hotel.
DIA 13: GALAPAGOS: After breakfast we will go to
the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center, where we will visit "The Wall of
Tears". From 1946 to 1959, Isabela was designated a penal colony by the
Ecuadorian government. Prisoners were obligated to build a wall with enormous
blocks of lava. Due to the arduous labor and harsh conditions in which the
prisoners lived, this site is known as "El Muro de las Lagrimas". Additionally,
we will visit a small lava tunnel and another flamingo lagoon, and then
we will return to the hotel to have lunch.
Mask Boobies
In the afternoon, we will sail to "Islote Tintoreras". It is
called this due to a large crevice with very clear, calm water in which
white-tip sharks known as "Tintoreras" come daily to rest on the bottom. We can
also observe penguins, sea lions, and marine iguanas and go snorkeling with
sharks as well as other colorful tropical fish while enjoying the beaches
of Isabela. Lodging in hotel.
DIA 14: GALAPAGOS: We will take the public speedboat to Puerto Ayora , where the guide
will be waiting , After breakfast, we will
travel to Baltra Airport, but on the way we will stop by "The Twins"
(a.k.a."The Gemelos"), which are similar to craters, however these were formed
by a collapse of the Earth because of the lava flows that passed below it. The
tour will end upon the arrival to the Airport where we will depart to Quito.
DIA 15: Transfer to de airport.
